vintage is the word

SORTING my wardrobe out this afternoon, made me realise how many of my clothes are from vintage shops. Here are some close-up images of some of my favourite pieces. All taken with an Olympus E-450. All of these garments are either from Raiders Vintage in Liverpool or Rokit Vintage in London.

the wang legacy?

ALEXANDER Wang's adorable neice Aila, already looking the part of a future fashion heiress, note her chanel purse! This photograph of the youngster was taken on Thursday night outside Wang's New York flagship store. When asked if she would follow in his footsteps one day Wang replied, “Hopefully! I mean, she’s such a star. I’d love to keep it within the family.” I think its already in the bag for this little one.

A miniture photo-diary of my day spent in Newcastle. Photographs, that I was kindly allowed to take, in Newcastle's finest escapism boutique, Best Vintage. I will place the links to their facebook page and blog at the end of this post. I was up here attending a university interview for Northumbria University, hopefully I will hear back from them soon, the suspense is killing me! Will be sure to let you know how I get on. I also took some photographs on my disposable camera and my fisheye lomography camera, will be posting these when I have finished my films and had them developed.

annas work

THE work of Anna Trevelyan, a fashion stylist based in London. As well as being a fashion director of "Untitled" Magazine, contributing stylist to several well known publications, and consultant for exciting brands, boutiques and designers. Anna also designs a range of clothing in Tokyo.
Recently named in "The Independent" as one of the top five emerging influential figures in fashion, she has been working for the past 2 - 3 years assisting Nicola Formichetti and still works with him on various projects, mainly being involved in his work with Lady Gaga. Her style is so individual, you definately know when she has been involved in a shoot.

Terry Richardson

AN insight into the world of creative photographer Terry Richardson.

an eclectical blend of personalities

IMAGES taken from Clare Shillands photographic essay 'Love from Alice'. Clare followed, student and blogger, Alice Charity Goddard around the Swedish island of Östra Lagnö for 5 days during the summer and captured her Scandinavian innocence for this essay. I cant fault these images, they are calming and tranquil, and she has indeed captured Alice's innocence. I visited Clare's website and found that her work carries the same aesthetic throughout. Her client list is incredible! Having worked for; Marni, i-D, Italian Rolling Stone, Saatchi & Saatchi, GQ Style, Warner Music, 679 Recordings, Lula, H&M, Big Man, Silas, 10, Hardy Amies, Amica, Lyle & Scott, Teen Vogue and The Gentlewoman. It cant get any better than that! Well, unless your Mario Testino that is.
