Yohji Yamamoto Menswear A/W11

HIGH-collared string shirts, woollen trenches, wrinkle-pressed pinstripe suits and jumpers carrying pixellated prints of bones and cherries marched down Yamamoto's A/W menswear collection. (Is is just me that thinks of the film 'Kill Bill' when I hear the name Yamamoto?) Yamamoto's inspiration stemmed from the images of German artist August Sander's photographic portraits of proud men and women. I have posted one of his images on my tumblr, follow me - dustyteaspoons.tumblr.com
