THOM Browne on describing his A/W11 Womenswear collection... "It's a mix of my men's tailoring and architectural construction of clothing. Some of these pieces are seriously constructed". I love everything about this collection, especially the grey, A-lined shaped, cropped-sleeved coat. A piece I would easily contain in my wardrobe.

WHILST sourcing secondary research for my latest project 'Pavements', I came across the fascinating world of Pavement Art. These images really make you look twice, and make the mind wonder at how these pieces of art can be real. I assure you photoshop is not involved in anyway whatsoever! 'FIFTEEN Fucking Fotos for every Filthy Friday' is the title of this series of photographs by New York-based photographer, Sara Naim. Her work explores the interconnectivity between objects, people and events in everyday life.  For her latest project she decided to take fifteen pictures every week to document her life. The results are a mixture of mundane domestic life, hanging out in and around New York, and the exotic places she has travelled to for work. Her work was taken using various 35mm camera, WINNER! Work I can actually relate to as I am currently experimenting with my own 35mm camera, which I will hopefully be developing soon. More of Saras images can be found here... my first self-styled shoot /

WITH help from my friend Carly (model) I was able to conduct my first self-styled shoot (also my own photography). These images are to help me make a start on a styling portfolio I am creating I used our own clothing and accessories, and I personally think she looks pretty damn good! Shoots like these will hopefully become a regular thing, and I will be more than happy to share my photographs with you. What are your thoughts?
