"Matanicola and Adam Linder, together with top model Claudia Mason, joined performative forces for this shoot with photographer Will Davidson. These three Berlin based dancers/choreographers have cut their teeth working with some of the most seminal figures in the last twenty years of dance: Batsheva Dance Company, Sasha Waltz & Guests, Michael Clark and Meg Stuart. For this shoot they approached the idea of creating a whole performance in one day confined to one single location, as if to save themselves from the impending gloom of the world outside by being as raucously transformative inside. As if to create a whole abstract story consisting of a string of unpredictable scenes, Will Davidson captured these otherwise ephemeral moments with stills and moving images."
