STREET STYLE / Menswear

New term, new design project, new brief. This time we have been issued with a menswear project, something I am really looking forward to. To inspire us we decided to go cool hunting (taking photos of some of the better dressed guys in Huddersfield). Here are some of my initial shots, more photos to come. All photographs taken at The Citp and Dais Boutique in the Byram Arcade, Hudds.

I'd like to make Cool Hunting a regular feature on my blog so I will keep you posted..

Thome Browne SS 12

GREYS, navys, reds and whites (what I would now class as his signiture colour scheme) were forever present on the staircase. There were also sightings of lampshade hats and frilled shoulder pads, heavy make up and foot long pearl necklaces. Lapels going all the way down to the waist and pearl-embroidered jackets were all being paraded down the spiral staircase. Thom Browne is fastly becoming my favourite Menswear designer, there's a uniquely strong aesthetic and style going on there that no one but Thom Browne can claim as his own. Not that many designers have that going at at this moment in time.
